The holidays can be a very busy and stressful time.
I want to encourage you to remember to take time
to slow down, relax, do things that recharge you so
that you can enjoy the busy parts of the season.
Have a coffee and a treat by the Christmas Tree
Wait for a quiet moment and create a cozy spot where you can just chill
and enjoy the quiet of your home with the twinkling lights of the season.
Write it Down
Question of the Day Journal
This 5-10 minute a day ritual is a prompt to spend time thinking about
something other than the stresses of everyday life. The question is a great start to
document your thoughts at that time in your life. It’s so fascinating to see how
far we have come when we dig out one of these journals 5 years later.
Question of the Day Journal for Kids
They have a kids version of this and I think they are such an amazing tool to capture
who your kids are. It’s like taking a photograph of their amazing little personalities.
Making it a nightly ritual to ask your kids one question and document their
answer will be such an awesome keepsake for when they’re older.
Spend Time Outside
Spending time outside being active is a great way to recharge!
