12 Days of Christmas - Day 5 - The Perfect Fudge

I am going to let you in on a little secret. I'm a TERRIBLE baker and a below average cook. I'm borderline a safety risk in the kitchen! I only enjoy making appetizers and a few other secret recipes. One of those secret recipes is my almost famous fudge! It could not be easier and it is so rich and delicious. I love giving away this sweet treat to friends and family over the holidays as a little gift.


 

Here are the recipes for my favourite flavours

 

White Chocolate Maple Walnut Fudge

Ingredients

3 cups of White Chocolate Chips

14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk

1/4 cup Butter

1 tbsp Maple Extract

21/2 cups Walnuts



Directions

  1. Line 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. Melt white chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter in a microwave safe glass.

  3. Stir every 30 seconds to avoid chocolate from burning.

  4. Once the mixture is smooth pour in maple extract.

  5. Fold in maple walnuts.

  6. Pour mixture into baking dish and refrigerate until set.

  7. Remove fudge by lifting the parchment paper, cut and serve or package for your friends and family!


 
Dark Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Peanut Fudge

Ingredients

3 cups of Dark Chocolate Chips

14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk

1/4 cup Butter

1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

2 1/2 cups Peanuts

15 Kraft Caramels

1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt


Directions

  1. Line 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. Melt dark chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter in a microwave safe glass.

  3. Stir every 30 seconds to avoid chocolate from burning.

  4. Once the mixture is smooth pour in vanilla extract.

  5. Fold in peanuts.

  6. Pour mixture into baking dish, drizzle melted Kraft caramels over the the top, sprinkle on salt and refrigerate until set.

  7. Remove fudge by lifting the parchment paper, cut and serve or package for your friends and family!



 

Milk Chocolate Nutella Fudge

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups of semi sweet Chocolate Chips (or Dark if you prefer!)

14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk

1/4 cup Butter

1 1/2 cups Nutella

Hazelnuts (optional)


Directions

  1. Line 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. Melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, Nutella and butter in a microwave safe glass.

  3. Stir every 30 seconds to avoid chocolate from burning.

  4. Fold in hazelnuts (optional).

  5. Pour mixture into baking dish and refrigerate until set.

  6. Remove fudge by lifting the parchment paper, cut and serve or package for your friends and family!
